Pastor Bobby Strickland

Pastor Bobby Strickland is the senior pastor at New Life In Christ Ministries.  

Pastor Strickland was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.  He was baptized as a youth at Home of Life M. B. Church in Chicago, IL, under the leadership of Pastor Johnny Henderson who still has a profound impact on his life today.  


He is a U.S. Army veteran.  He served in Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. 


In 2005 Rev. Strickland surrendered to his call to preach the Gospel as he continued learning under the Reverend Dr. J. C. Smith, Pastor. He attended  Chicago Baptist Institute where he graduated and received his Associates Degree in Christian Education and served as class president in May 2013. In August 2010, Rev. Bobby Strickland served as Interim Pastor of New Life In Christ Ministries and in December 2010 the Lord appointed Reverend Bobby Strickland as the Pastor. His mission: to honorably preach the unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ while humbly serving and edifying God through the body of baptized believers assigned to his care.  


For seven years, New Life In Christ Ministries Church Family has been blessed to have Rev. Bobby Strickland as Pastor, Leader, Motivator, Teacher and Inspirer.  He truly believes in meeting the needs of the total man.  Therefore, by the vision given to him of the Holy Spirit, New Life In Christ Ministries are able to feed the hungry, clothe the homeless, give hope to the hopeless, witness to the lost, and give spiritual guidance to the saved. 


In 2017, Pastor Bobby joined Sister Kimberly L. Strickland in holy matrimony. 


Jeremiah 3:15 reads: "And I will give you Pastors according to mind heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding."
